RESCUER presented during the 20th anniversary of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism

Year 2022 marks the 20^th anniversary of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, which in the words of the Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič, “is a concrete example of EU solidarity in action”.

Speaking during the event for the celebration of the 20^th anniversary of EU Civil Protection Mechanism, Commandant Wilfried Stéfic, head of the French National Fire Officers Academy (ENSOSP) Research Projects Laboratory, presented RESCUER project.

The Academy is committed to finding ways to improve the safety and operational capabilities of those working in crisis management and RESCUER project is a great opportunity as it aims at researching and developing a technological toolkit to support First Responders in adverse and infrastructure-less environments.
